Asset Analytics Dashboard (NBCUniversal)

Turning operational chaos into a living story of color, clarity, and connection.

Before this project, asset management at NBCUniversal was fragmented; dozens of stockrooms, disconnected systems, and no shared visibility into what was outdated, misplaced, or costing money. I wanted to bring order and meaning to it all.

The Asset Analytics Dashboard became that story; a visual system where every color, layout, and tab told a part of the narrative.

Stockroom Overview revealed the heartbeat of every location; showing outdated Windows 10 devices, expired assets ready for disposal, and total inventory health through a living color code of green, yellow, orange, and red.

Tasks to Action transformed static lists into movement: a single space where techs could see what to ship, collect, or refresh, reducing downtime and saving resources.

Asset Data Cleanup surfaced the hidden red flags; machines tied to multiple users, assigned to the wrong departments, or showing irregular login behavior; restoring trust in data and process.

What began as a technical report evolved into a creative language that technicians embraced. It wasn’t mandated; it was bookmarked. Today, the dashboard remains an everyday tool across NBCUniversal, guiding decisions, preventing waste, and saving thousands in asset recovery and disposal costs.

For me, this was where design met empathy; building not just a dashboard, but a shared understanding. It showed me that creativity isn’t limited to art or media; it can live in the logic of systems, in how we make complexity human again.
